Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner team up in Hanky Panky, a comedy thriller directed by Sidney Poitier. Wilder stars as Michael Jordon, an architect whose ordinary evening takes a dangerous turn when he shares a taxi with a mysterious woman carrying a secret package. After she is found murdered, Michael becomes caught up in a web of espionage, mistaken identity, and pursuit. Kate Hellman, played by Radner, joins him as they try to uncover the truth and stay one step ahead of those after them.
This fast-moving blend of comedy, suspense, and adventure also features Kathleen Quinlan, Richard Widmark, Robert Prosky, and Josef Sommer. Released by Columbia Pictures in 1982, the film pairs Wilder and Radner in a playful, Hitchcock-inspired story full of twists and comic misadventures.
This 16mm feature is in color with sound and comes on lab cores. A great addition for collectors of classic comedy, Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner films, and vintage 16mm cinema.
