Sales Tax Policy
Last Update: 6/9/2025
Tax Collection & Compliance
Sales tax laws vary by state, and we strive to comply with all applicable regulations. If your order is drop shipped and the vendor has a business presence in the destination state, we may be required to collect and remit sales tax based on that state's tax laws. In such cases, the applicable state sales tax rate may be charged, which could be the maximum rate allowed by law.
Tax Calculation & Adjustments
Due to variations in county, jurisdiction, and local tax rates, we may not always be able to calculate the exact tax amount at checkout. If you are charged more than the required tax, any overages will be refunded once the final tax liability is determined.
If sales tax is not charged at checkout, it will be billed separately prior to processing the order to ensure compliance with state tax laws. Customers are responsible for paying any additional tax amounts due.
Exemptions & Customer Responsibilities
- Resale Certificates: If you are a reseller and wish to claim a sales tax exemption, you must provide a valid resale certificate for the destination state before placing your order.
- Use Tax Responsibility: If sales tax is not collected at the time of purchase, customers may be required to self-report and remit use tax to their state tax authority.
- Tax Rate Adjustments: Tax rates are subject to change based on state and local regulations. We reserve the right to adjust tax charges accordingly.
- Multi-State Compliance: Some states require vendors to collect tax even if the seller does not have a physical presence. We comply with economic nexus laws where applicable.
