Experience & Past Performance
Magna-Tech has been a trusted name in cinema and audio-visual technology since its founding in New York City in 1956. In 1995, the company was acquired by its current owner, Steven Krams, who continues to serve as President and Chairman. Under his leadership, Magna-Tech merged with International Cinema Equipment Company in 1999—an organization originally established in 1975. Today, both companies remain under the same ownership, with Mr. Krams holding 100% of the stock.
With decades of industry expertise, Magna-Tech operates as a distributor of professional-grade cinema projection, sound, and post-production equipment. We also serve as design consultants for the development and modernization of motion picture theaters, offering tailored solutions that include:
- Technical system design
- Equipment specification and sourcing
- On-site installation and integration
- Ongoing support and maintenance
Our reputation is built on a foundation of innovation, precision, and hands-on experience across every facet of the cinema industry.
