Christie JEFFCOOL E105 Coolant Overview
JEFFCOOL E105 is a heavy-duty ethylene glycol-based coolant used in Christie Series I and select Series II digital cinema projectors. Supplied in a 1-gallon plastic bottle, it is part of the official Coolant Refill Kit (P/N 003-001837-03). This coolant is formulated to protect critical components like DMDs from overheating and corrosion in closed-loop cooling systems.

Refill Instructions
- Power off the projector and allow it to cool.
- Access the coolant reservoir by removing the top lid and access panels.
- If flushing, follow the appropriate flush procedure for your model.
- Use the refill bottle and funnel to add coolant to the reservoir.
- Power on the projector without the lamp to circulate the fluid.
- Prime the system by gently manipulating hoses to remove air bubbles.
- Continue topping off the reservoir until the fluid level stabilizes.
- Ensure all hoses are bubble-free and the reservoir is half to three-quarters full.
- Replace all covers and test the system.
Important Notes
- Never run the pump dry.
- Always purge air from the system to prevent overheating.
- Use only JEFFCOOL E105 as specified by Christie.
